ARE YOU A BOY MOM AND WONDERING IF THIS WOULD BE RIGHT FOR YOU? 

Hey I get you, I'm a boy mom too. And while my son does not like me taking his picture, he knows he's got to do it for me and I promise you, too, we can get good &  fun pics of them! There's a few keep things to keep in mind: 

1. We pick a setting that is important to them - think car garage or locker room, I can make anyplace look cool, it doesn't have to be a park a "pretty" setting. 

2. Include things that are important to them - these are the things that they'll look back on and appreciate in a photograph, whether it's a favorite ratty old tshirt or beat up first car. We talk about this before our session and I get them thinking of what they'd like so they can feel ownership about the session. 

3. Let them wear what they're comfortable in. I always tell them, wear one thing for mom and a few other things for you. They know they're doing this for you and I don't expect them to love it but...

4. I work FAST! We get it done and wrap when they're bored or feel done. Surprisingly, many guys get into it more once they see what all goes into making a session great. 

5. I welcome buddies or girlfriends to come be my "assistant" and get them relaxed and laughing and not so self conscious.
